On July 14, 2017, in Karachi, Pakistan, DHA City Karachi (DCK) marked a significant milestone in its development as a planned, sustainable, and smart city project. DCK, located on the Super Highway, is committed to offering world-class amenities, and the signs of modernization and progress are becoming increasingly evident.
Recognizing the importance of healthcare services in the area, DHA took a proactive step to address the needs of the community. At that time, DCK had a satellite medical setup catering to the healthcare requirements of a limited number of residents. However, there was a pressing need for a high-tech ambulance to efficiently transport seriously ill patients from DCK and the surrounding areas to hospitals in Karachi.
In response to this need, DHA arranged for a state-of-the-art ambulance, equipped with modern medical gadgets and accessories, including a ventilator, defibrillator, monitor, oxygen supply, and other advanced equipment. Dr. Sheema Ather, DHA’s Chief Medical Officer, formally handed over this high-tech ambulance to the DCK Medical Team.
This gesture symbolized DCK’s commitment to progress and forward-thinking in providing essential services to its residents. The introduction of this advanced ambulance is expected to significantly enhance healthcare services in DCK, ultimately improving the well-being of the community and further establishing the city’s reputation as a progressive and caring place.
