Visit of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Khairpur Campus Students and Faculty to DHA City Karachi (DCK)

On February 12, 2018, students and faculty members from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Campus Khairpur, embarked on a visit to DHA City Karachi (DCK), resulting in a productive and insightful experience.

During the visit, the DCK Management graciously presented a detailed overview of their planning and development strategy for DHA City. The students were introduced to the vision of DCK, which was aimed at establishing a sustainable, green, and smart city with international recognition and modern amenities.

Subsequently, the students had the opportunity to tour the active project sites within DCK, where they observed the ongoing development work in full swing. This exposure piqued the students’ interest and led to their genuine appreciation of DCK’s forward-thinking planning and versatile development strategy.

The delegation commended DCK as an impressive example of engineering excellence and unwavering professional commitment. Engaging in discussions with project engineers, the students delved into various aspects of engineering, technology, and architecture related to the project.
